Today, on April 21, 2014, at the Kosovo Disability Forum (FKAK) offices, we welcomed the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare (MLSW), Mr. Arban Abrashi and the Secretary of this Ministry Mr. Besart Bytyqi. This meeting was attended by the President of the Forum, Mr. Bujar Kadriu, as well as all the members of the Board of Directors of FKAK.

During the meeting, it was talked about the continuation of cooperation between FKAK and MLSW, and in particular on the Comprehensive Law on People with Disabilities.
Also, the Minister was informed by members of the Steering Council about the difficulties faced by FKAK Member Associations and the various problems faced by them.

Mr. Abrashi, expressed the further support of MLSW for the Kosovar Disability Forum at different forums and at the same time pledged that in a very short time the Government will adopt the Concept-Document, which opens the way to the Comprehensive Law .

The Minister agreed to notify the Minister of Finance and the Prime Minister of Kosovo that within the shortest possible time to approve the Action Plan for People with Disabilities budgeted by the Government of Kosovo.
